Who is Jackson Denneen

I’m Jackson, an independent web designer based in Australia. I create websites that feel different, not just look good.

I’m not trying to follow trends or impress people with big claims. My goal is simple: to build sites that feel like the brand behind them. Whether it’s a small creative business, a personal project, or something new, I care about how people experience your site the moment they land on it.

I didn’t come into this through traditional tech. My background is more creative, photography, storytelling, and visual design. Over time, I realised web design was where everything could come together. A website can carry mood, personality, trust… if built with care.

I don’t use templates or churn things out quickly. I build everything from scratch and try to ensure each site feels thoughtful and alive. Some of the projects in my portfolio, like Strength Life or The Chef’s Taste, were made to show what I can do and where my style is heading. Although they’re fictional brands, I treated them seriously, as if they were real businesses.

RI’m currently focused on working with people who value that depth. You don’t need to have it all figured out. If you know you want a site that feels considered and personal, and built with genuine attention, I’d love to chat.
