I'm Jackson Denneen, a passionate photographer and designer with my roots deep in the arts, all thanks to my dad, a skilled commercial video editor and photographer, and my grandad, a standout film director. Their creative visions have deeply influenced my path, inspiring me to capture and share life's moments through my lens. In high school, I led a key project, "The Photographers Eye," a magazine that explored the lives and inspirations of photographers. This project not only honed my skills but also sparked my interest in digital design.
My academic journey continued at TAFE, where I shone in photography and digital media courses, bagging the portrait photography award and solidifying my dedication to the craft. Further studies in web and graphic design allowed me to master HTML, CSS, Java, and various design principles, shaping me into the professional designer I am today.
My photography has taken me to stunning locations around the world, letting me document and share a variety of significant experiences. Now living in Port Douglas, Australia, I get involved in community projects and have created highly praised websites for local businesses, demonstrating my commitment to user-friendly design.
As a proud member of the Squarespace Circle, I utilize the platform's capabilities to offer cutting-edge, custom website solutions, merging my artistic background with the latest digital trends to help clients realise their vision.
Volunteering to teach music to Australian First Nation kids remains one of my most fulfilling experiences, reflecting my commitment to community and cultural engagement.
